The wait is over as the WSF Men’s World Teams got under way today at Squash on Fire in Washington.
The opening match on the showcourt was a real cracker – defending champions Egypt against hosts USA !!!
No surprise that Egypt won, 3-0, but the home side took two games and really got the crowd going.
There were no upsets to report on the opening day with all the higher-seeded teams winning, although Germany and Australia found themselves one down before recovering to beat Argentina and Kuwait respectively.
